The Sons of Liberty were a secretive organization, and their membership and activities often went undocumented or were deliberately obscured to avoid detection by British authorities. As a result, providing a comprehensive list of members and exact dates of their activities can be challenging. However, I can offer an overview of some key members and significant events associated with the Sons of Liberty
We are the modern Sons of Liberty — a patriotic brotherhood committed to preserving the foundational ideals upon which the United States of America was built. Inspired by the courage and convictions of those who came before us, we carry forward their legacy by striving to embody the principles of liberty, personal responsibility, and civic virtue in our everyday lives.
Our organization is more than just a group — it is a fellowship of like-minded men united by a shared sense of purpose. We are driven not by anger or extremism, but by a deep and abiding respect for our nation, our communities, and the unalienable rights endowed to every human being by their Creator. We reject all forms of hate, prejudice, and division. Our doors are open to all men, regardless of background, race, or belief, who are willing to walk with integrity, serve others, and uphold the values of honor, brotherhood, and freedom.
It is important to clearly state that we are not radicals. We are not aligned with any effort to undermine, overthrow, or rebel against the legitimate institutions of government. Our intentions are peaceful, constructive, and grounded in the rule of law and the pursuit of truth. We exist not as a threat to society, but as a force for good within it — offering mentorship, support, and accountability for one another as we navigate the challenges of modern manhood.
Our vision is to create a strong and lasting network of brothers — men who lift each other up, challenge one another to be better, and provide mutual support in times of need. Whether it’s through charitable acts, community involvement, or simply being a steady presence in each other’s lives, we strive to make a tangible, positive impact on the world around us.
We believe that freedom is not given — it is earned and maintained through vigilance, sacrifice, and love of country. As such, we dedicate ourselves to defending and promoting the God-given natural rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. These are not just words to us — they are guiding truths, worthy of our respect and protection.
Ultimately, we are here to honor the legacy of the quiet patriots — the men who have stood for what’s right without seeking recognition or praise. We speak for them. We stand with them. And we work to ensure their memory and mission live on in every act of courage, compassion, and conviction we undertake.
In today’s rapidly changing and often chaotic world, the importance of genuine brotherhood cannot be overstated. We live in a time of profound uncertainty — a time when traditional values are increasingly questioned, societal bonds are weakening, and individuals are more isolated than ever before. The pressures of modern life — economic instability, political division, cultural confusion, and moral decline — continue to grow more intense with each passing year. In such an environment, the presence of a strong, principled brotherhood becomes not only beneficial but essential.
Now more than ever, men need a place where they are understood, supported, and held accountable. They need a community built on trust, loyalty, and a shared commitment to something greater than themselves. A true brotherhood offers more than mere friendship — it offers belonging, purpose, and a path forward. Within such a fellowship, individuals are reminded that they are not alone in their beliefs, struggles, or hopes for the future.
A strong brotherhood provides:
In the face of adversity, it is easy to feel overwhelmed or alone. But through a united brotherhood, we find the strength to endure, the courage to stand firm, and the hope to build a brighter future. This is not just a gathering of men — it is a calling, a commitment, and a movement toward something greater. Together, we rise.
Active Participation & Responsibility
For the proper function and progression of any well-governed and organized institution, it is necessary for a fully obligated member to remain active in the chats and meetups. When a member is inactive, they are subject to being unaware and/or missing out on: meetups, vetting, voting, discussion, etc. It is the member's responsibility to stay up to date and current with Tavern business.
Financial Transparency
Allocation of funds must be at a minimum talked about in an official meeting or tavern chat. Preferably, it should be voted on. States will be transparent in regards to funds to all members of their tavern with proof to be shown in receipts or statements upon request.
Brotherhood Respect (Key Points)
Confidentiality & Respectful Communication
Club business is club business and should not be spread to other groups within reason and especially not spread to people in other Taverns and non-members. This could make a Tavern look TOXIC and the whole organization as well.
Gossiping or bad-mouthing a brother unless it is in mutual fun will not be tolerated and risks discipline by the SAA.
To join the Sons of Liberty, you must be a natural born male and have a belief in some form of God. Non-violent felonies will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis (no rapists or pedophiles). There must be no active substance abuse (i.e., opiates, opioids, meth, cocaine, etc.).
Nomad Patriots must be of drinking age. You must have a means to make a livable wage and have an understanding of holding moral codes of conduct. You must be willing to submit to our rituals and ceremonies. A background check is required for membership. No other group memberships are necessary in order to join the Sons of Liberty
1. Keep Your Word: A man’s word is his bond. If he does not have his word then he has nothing. If you say you’re going to do something, then do it.
2. Have Integrity and Honesty: This should be at the forefront when communicating with your brothers. Grown men don’t need to lie.
3. Take Pride in Your Appearance: You don’t necessarily have to wear a suit and tie but take a shower, wear clothes that aren’t ripped, clean up a little.
4. Be Responsible: Know how to act in public. How you act in public could reflect poorly on the organization as a whole.
5. Be available: Everyone has a life but one of the purposes of this group is to stand united. If I can’t depend on you then are you really my brother? Not saying that you have to drop everything all of the time but make an effort to be there.
6. Take pride in your position: You don’t have to be in charge to be a leader.
7. Be Accountable: If you mess up then fix it. If you cannot humble yourself and admit you are wrong then what is your real worth?
8. Confidentiality: Club business is club business. Unless gaining counsel from another officer, there is really no reason to air out dirty laundry except to gossip. Women gossip.
9. Be useful: At least try to better yourself. Learn something new, read up on history, & get in shape. We are only as strong as our weakest link. We should all be growing together.
10. Unity and Brotherhood: Foster a sense of camaraderie among members. Support one another and uphold the values of loyalty and friendship. If your brothers are making dumb decisions, tell them tactfully. If they are bettering their selves, be supportive.
11. Be selfless: Ask not what the organization can do for you, but what you can do for the organization. You should not be in this organization to seek rewards.
12. Be Respectful: You should treat all of your brothers and their family with dignity and respect. If you have a grievance with a brother, then talk one on one, not out in the forum.
13. Be Fiscally Responsible: Take care of your house. Things happen sometimes, but if they keep happening because you keep making the same mistakes thinking someone will help you out, you are a victim. Don’t be a victim.
